Acceptable Use Policy

What the Service may not be used for, so leads, customers and the platforms we connect to stay protected.

1. Purpose

This policy sets out what you may not do with Flare Reply. It is part of our Terms of Service. It exists to protect the people whose details pass through the Service, our customers, and the platforms we connect to.

2. Collecting and using leads

  • Collect leads only through your own Lead Ads, WhatsApp number, website forms or other sources where people knowingly gave you their details.
  • Do not upload or import purchased, rented or scraped contact lists.
  • Do not use the Service to collect data from children or to target people based on sensitive characteristics in breach of Meta’s Advertising Standards.
  • Do not use lead data for anything other than following up on the enquiry and your own legitimate business with that person.

3. WhatsApp and messaging

  • Message only people who have opted in to hear from you on WhatsApp, as the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy requires.
  • Use Meta-approved templates outside the 24-hour customer service window. The Service enforces this; do not try to work around it.
  • Stop messaging anyone who asks you to, and honour “STOP” and similar replies.
  • No spam, bulk unsolicited messages, deceptive content, or messages that impersonate another person or business.
  • Follow India’s telemarketing rules (TRAI) and the anti-spam laws of every country you message.

4. Meta and Conversions API

  • Connect only Pages, ad accounts and datasets you or your client own or are authorised to manage.
  • Send Meta only real pipeline stages for real leads. Do not send fabricated, inflated or misleading conversion events.
  • Do not use data from Meta’s platforms to build profiles, re-identify people, or for any purpose other than the features of the Service.
  • Comply with Meta’s Commercial Terms, Advertising Standards, Platform Terms, Developer Policies and Lead Ads Terms.

5. Prohibited content and businesses

  • Illegal goods or services, or anything Meta’s Advertising Standards prohibit.
  • Fraud, phishing, pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes, or deceptive lending.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats or content that exploits or harms minors.
  • Malware, or content that infringes others’ intellectual property or privacy.

6. Security and fair use

  • Do not probe, scan or test the Service’s security without our written permission, or try to access another customer’s data.
  • Do not overload the Service, bypass usage limits, or share accounts to avoid paying for seats.
  • Do not resell or provide the Service to others except as an agency managing your own clients’ workspaces.

If you find a security issue, please report it responsibly to the email address shown in your account (see Security).

7. Enforcement and reporting

We may investigate suspected breaches, remove content, suspend Meta or WhatsApp features, or suspend or close accounts. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. To report misuse, including messages you did not ask for from a business using the Service, email the email address shown in your account.
